LEARN Education Series
Every other month on the third Wednesday at 5:15pm CST, we present information on various financial topics, including financial planning, estate planning, saving for various goals, gifting, investment strategies, goal planning, and retirement strategies. In addition, we may present topics that are not financially related.
LEARN sessions are planned to be 20-25 minutes. Questions may be asked at the session, or to maintain confidentiality on specific questions, please direct follow-up questions to your Advisor.
If the topic is outside our of expertise, we invite experts in the topic to present information we believe to be useful.
Attend in person at our Decorah or West Union office locations, via online meeting, or request a replay be sent via email.
CPR Certification
Every year, 475,000 people die from cardiac arrest in the United States. With your help, perhaps we can reduce that number.
At Knox Financial Services, we wish to help by offering CPR training sessions.
With our classroom session, you will experience an instructor-led, hands-on class format, that teaches or reinforces skill proficiency. Upon completion of the class, you will have the opportunity to receive your certificate of completion.
Held the first Saturday of March at our West Union office location.
Tin Cup Golf Outing
The term tin cup likely came from the early days of golf when players carried their clubs in metal or tin cups. Today, the term "tin-cup" describes a golfer that is persistent to a fault, or a player that goes for the risk shot even when the safe play is the better option. We like to think it's a symbol of courage and determination. Regardless, our Knox Financial Services Tin Cup Golf Outing is a chance to hit the links with other clients, from serious to those just enjoying the day.
The Tin Cup golf outing is held the Saturday after Labor Day in September each year.
Holiday Event - West Union
If one Holiday Celebration is good, two must be better.
Come in from the cold, the season is here for warm company, food and drink. Our Holiday Celebration is a chance to celebrate holiday cheer, gather good friends and meet new ones.
Held the second Thursday of December at our West Union office location.
